A deep-sea art trail for cities and municipalities
Twenty-four creatures of the deep, five to ten metres across, on twenty-four buildings along a seafront, a harbour or a city centre, linked by a walk and lit at night.

A visualisation of a design, not a photograph.
What the exhibition brings
- A free public event for a season, for every resident and visitor.
- A subject for schools: a class can follow the trail with a worksheet.
- A visible commitment to the sea and its protection for the sponsors.
- With an indoor exhibition and the book alongside.
Designs that fit
Twelve creatures at 5 × 5 m, eight at 7 × 7 m and four at 10 × 10 m, cut to the outline of the animal.
About four to five kilometres, two hours at an easy pace, with shorter loops for families.
Lamps bring up the colours after dark, or projection mapping makes the animals seem to move.
How it works
- You write to us with your venue, its size and possible dates.
- We send the presentation and suggest the design that fits your space.
- The plan is redrawn for your real rooms, and the selection of works is agreed.
- The artist’s team produces the works and installs the exhibition.
- The opening, with the artist present and the book launched.
Questions
Who does what?
The artist’s team chooses the animals, designs the trail, writes the texts and produces the prints. The municipality provides the buildings, permissions and route. A sponsor funds production and installation.
What is at each stop?
A plate with the name of the animal, the depth it lives at, one fact about it, and a code that opens its page of the book.
Is it safe for the buildings?
Fixing works of this size needs the owners’ agreement, a structural check and permits, which are arranged with the town before production.
